Drexel attended the University of South Carolina. He holds a SC insurance license for life, health, and annuities, and is securities series 6 and 63 registered.
A lifelong resident of SC, Drexel and his wife, Daisy, reside in Summerton. They are blessed with 7 children, 18 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
